Inspired by shooting and truffle hunting jackets, Le Spring Field Coat brings a springier foraging inspiration to the tradition of countryside apparel. It dresses up a pair of jeans and a t-shirt to bring timeless elegance to a contemporary look, whilst having plenty of pockets for your bits and bobs. We have also crafted the cut to be on the longer side, so it fits perfectly over a blazer or suit jacket for a more formal or office look. 

The Spring version is crafted with a gorgeously soft Holland & Sherry Scottish Drill Twill Cotton. This makes it naturally lightly water-resistant. 

As a finishing touch, we use horn buttons that are crafted in Bergamot from a century-old factory using the same hand-finished techniques for generations. The buttons are polished in small barrels, hand-churned against miniature cork pellets with wax and olive oil. In the winter, to contain the humidity in the barrels, Polenta residue is added from the neighbouring Polenta factory. This is the heritage and craftsmanship that Alva preserves.
