Limited Edition of 65 pieces from a Vintage Monti Massau Cotton 

The first piece of Alva’s summer collection is a summer take on the Safari-Alpin. Using a durable and structured Gabardine cotton with a strong Italian heritage, originally used to make the overalls for Fiat Factory workers, this high-quality cotton has weight and structure whilst remaining light in weight and temperature. Great with dress trousers or over a t-shirt for a more casual look. For ladies, you can either go for the boxy boyfriend look, or combine it with one of our belts on the waist and some fabulous jewellery to make it more elegant. 

Crafted from Incredible Italian cotton.

As a finishing touch, we use horn buttons that are crafted in Bergamot from a century-old factory using the same hand-finished techniques for generations. The buttons are polished in small barrels, hand-churned against miniature cork pellets with wax and olive oil. In the winter, to contain the humidity in the barrels, Polenta residue is added from the neighbouring Polenta factory. This is the heritage and craftsmanship that Alva preserves.
